Post Holiday Review!
We are back from the Holiday Break and ready to sew!
The Clarke County School District Homeless Education Program loved the pillow cases that they delivered to the shelters around town!
1/4/2010: "To the Gaines Elementary School Sewing club,
I just wanted to thank all of you for the beautiful pillow cases you made for the homeless shelters. I delivered them on 12/18 and they loved them. You all are very special students for thinking of and doing something nice for other children. Keep up the great work!
Thank you "sew" much : )

Now we are getting started on pajamas that we are making for our pen pals in Africa! We are learning how to use patterns to put the fabric together in order to make the pants and the girls have decided that since it is very warm in Africa right now, they will make the pants for their pen pal's pajamas out of a cool cotton fabric. Very thoughtful!
